Much Better Pics!!

We fell off the planet (or at least the internet) for a few days! But now we're back! Not much tonight (I'm tired!!), but I thought I'd share a few pics that are a little better than the ones in our last post!

That's looking a bit like a mischievous grin! =)

Seriously, she's got some blue eyes.

She is one happy girl. If she's in a fussy mood, you know something is up.

She may be one happy girl, but she is NOT a good sleeper! She'll put herself to sleep at nap and bedtime, it's just that staying asleep all night that's killing us. She had hit a good spell where she was only waking once a night. That is TOTALLY doable in my book. Any suggestions? Don't give me the "cry it out" method though... This momma's not cut out for that... at least not this year.

Oh yeah... some folks had asked for links to see the pics we got done.
1. to www.photographybykristinpate.com
2. Click online previews
3. click hardeman and wilkins
4. password is Natalie (cap sensitive)
There are A LOT of pics there. My favorite ones of Izzy are on the last page.

Also, if you just like to look at pictures...
1. go back to online previews
2. click on the pulldown menu (below can't find your event)
3. towards the bottom of the pulldown menu, click on Catie Wilkins
4. click view event
5. password is catie (cap sensitive)
There are 2 albums there, Catie's last session and Izzy's first. Both have some really amazing pictures.

Izzy is beautiful! She does have the bluest eyes. My Natalie does too. I want to get them together someday! We might try to head to Savannah sometime next year when the baby is weaned. I'll let you know.... I can see Catie in Izzy, but she'd definitely her own little person. I feel for you with the night waking. Natalie can't even put herself to sleep. I've developed the bad habit of nursing her to sleep, or John goes and rocks her. Sigh. The past few nights, she's slept 8 hours straight, but like you said, that can change in an instant. I'm no help to you because I hate the cry-it-out method too, and that's what my doctor recommended!!! ): For now, we are just trying to figure out what works for Natalie, and if it's nursing and cuddling, then that's what she gets.

Oh, Jenny... Thank you for sharing such beautiful pictures with us. Izzy is adorable, and she has so many reasons to be such a happy girl!

The pictures of you, Tre', and Catie from last year are breathtaking. Of course, the ones of Catie holding your belly brought tears to my eyes. As I was looking through them, I got this strong feeling that Izzy is going to know exactly who her sister is, and that they will certainly have that "sister" connection that no one else can replace.

I love you guys, and can't wait to see you in a few weeks! Praying for sleep-filled nights for all!

I could just kiss her fuzzy little head...

the pics of both girls were precious... thanks for sharing

sorry, but the CIO method worked wonders for us - Im not going to lie - it was probably the hardest thing ever, but it worked.... what we did, is lay our baby down, let him cry for 5 minutes, go back in - rub their back/head, but dont pick them up, and then move to 10 minutes, and it didnt take that long..... I wish you luck with whatever you choose

Jenny, I couldn't resist viewing the beautiful picturs! What a lovely family you have been blessed with! All of the pictures were wonderful to see. Izzy is growing so fast. She is the image of her dad! Does she have red hair?! Oh I think that's such a lovely combination, piercing blue eyes and beautiful red hair! Thank you for the picture of Catie that you sent to me. I will treasure it always. Lots of things have been happening and I've been super busy, but let's stay in touch! God bless you dear and your precious family!

Love and blessings,
Cathi

If you figure out how to get Izzy to sleep let me know! It sounds like Macie and Izzy have a lot in common. As soon as I think we are close to a full nights sleep she starts waking up earlier again. I am hoping sending her daddy to take care of the night time wakings will end the eating at night. I hear that can do the trick, but I have no proof.
Good luck!

My dad always told me to feed my babies heavy at night so they would sleep through the night. His analogy was that if feeding his bird dogs heavy at night kept them from barking the same method could be used for babies. It worked for my 3 when I couldn't get them to sleep through the night. Maybe this would help
